Next Ashley Neighbourhood Forum Mon 16th May
May 10, 2011Please find attached the agenda and minutes for the next Ashley Neighbourhood Forum meeting.
Details of the meeting are as follows: Date: Monday, May 16th / Time: 6:30-8:30pm / Location: Salvation Army on Ashley Road
Unlike at previous meetings, we have dedicated around 1/2 hour during the “formal” part of the meeting for residents to raise issues with the entire group. There will still be a “marketplace” part of the meeting (at the end) for residents to speak one to one with agency representatives, but if you have a burning issue you’d like to make the group aware of, this time slot will provide you the opportunity to raise it.

Well-Being Grants available
November 2, 2010The Ashley, Easton & Lawrence Hill Neighbourhood Partnership has a small amount of funding remaining from the recent Well-being Grant pot. The remaining funds from the last round of grants were too small to fund any of the previous grant applications, but are still significant enough to fund a small community project.
Across the Partnership area, the ward of Ashley has already identified projects, which have used all of the funds available to the ward. Easton and Lawrence Hill both have small amounts of funds remaining though, that are now being made available for small grant applications.
Details of the available grants are as follows:
Easton: There is £560 available for a Well-being project based in Easton.
Lawrence Hill: There is £940 available for a Well-being project based in Lawrence Hill, which specifically focuses on elders. To be eligible for this grant, proposed projects must specifically target elder’s well being and include elders in the planning of the project.
· During this round of applications, projects should be specific to either Easton or Lawrence Hill.
· The maximum funds available to a project on each ward are stated above. Please make sure your requests do not exceed the available funds.
· Applications must adhere to the same priorities and eligibility criteria as previous Well-being grants. (Please see those details attached)
The deadline for this round of applications will be on Wednesday, 17th November at 5pm.
