A PETITION has been launched by parents to help Bristol City Council persuade the Government to hand over more money to provide new primary schools.
Bristol has one of the fastest-growing child populations outside London and needs to provide at least 3,000 extra school places by 2014.

The proposed improvements in the School Organisation Strategy do not
sufficiently meet the needs of the school, the Young People or the
community.
As my local Councillor I believe you should be pushing for increased funding to be allocated for an entire new building, not just funds to “patch up” the existing building.”

in 2010 we will be changing the way we work, replacing the ‘Task Groups’ with working on 5 – 7 projects designed to make improvements to specific areas of life in St Pauls. Please help us by choosing a maximum of FIVE issues which we have identified by speaking to local people. There is also space to add your own issues too, but please include extra issues as part of your five. do the survey here
