Neighbourhood Partnership

Ashley Neighbourhood Forum

The Neighbourhood Forums are the place to go to raise issues with the people who can take action.

The Forums are well placed to consider local concerns, they bring together local Councillors, Neighbourhood Police teams, Community Groups, local residents and senior Council Officers to shape services such as:

· Street Cleaning
· Park Maintenance
· Minor Traffic Schemes
· Highway Maintenance
· Community Safety

All Forum meetings take place from 6:30 – 8:30pm

What’s happening with issues raised since the last Ashley Forum meeting?

Three months between meetings can seem like a really long time.  We want to make sure you know what is happening with the issues you raised at previous Ashley Forum meetings so we will now be posting regular updates.  At the beginning of every month you can check here for updates on issues.  This information will also be provided at the next Forum meeting.  If you have any questions or concerns please get in touch on 0117 903 9934 or leave a message below.

Neighbourhood Partnership

Bristol’s partner agencies have improved the way they listen to what local people want in their neighbourhoods.

Neighbourhood Partnerships are well placed to consider local concerns. They bring together local councillors, neighbourhood police teams, community groups and local residents to shape services such as street cleaning, park maintenance, local recycling schemes, minor traffic schemes, highway maintenance and community safety.
You can view members of the Neighbourhood Partnership here.

Fixmystreet.com – a really easy way to report problems like graffiti, fly tipping, broken paving slabs, or street lighting. You can also discuss and view other issues on your street, which have been reported. Anything you report gets forwarded to the exact person whose job it is to deal with it.

Take a look, its really good!

Alternatively, phone Bristol City Council main switchboard on 0117 922 2000.

  Speeding

Now that the new 20mph zone is in place it may be easier to spot someone who is speeding around the area. If you do see someone behaving irresponsibly you can report it to the Police – the Neighbourhood Team have told us that they will ‘have a word’ with anyone reported. You will need a registration and a brief description.
