Green Spaces for People Grants in St Pauls – NOW OPEN

St Pauls Unlimited is working with Bristol City Council and Places for People to make available grants for green spaces in St Pauls. All grants must be fully spent by 31st August 2013.

 
Grants will be made available for:
 
Community planting projects in the St Pauls area.
 
Regular activities held on green space in St Pauls that promote residents use and enjoyment of the space including; healthy lifestyles/ play/ sport/ exercise / food growing/ contact with nature/ plants/ arts and other creative activities
 
Occasional events to promote the green space, to involve the wider community and attract volunteers including a focus on healthy lifestyles.
 
Activities that directly target issues effecting the green space i.e. misuse/ vandalism/ ASB/ exclusion of a particular group etc but may be held elsewhere
 
Visits to other projects/ nature reserves/ food growing projects and visits to share learning and experience with other similar groups/ projects.
 
Other fundraising/ income generating activities to ensure the future of the green space/ fundraise for particular projects – i.e. raffles/ selling on compost etc links to entrepreneurial initiatives/ social enterprise

The deadline for all applications is Thursday 21st March 2013 at 12pm.
Applications received after this time will not be considered.
