David Monahan is a Dubliner and Photographer documenting people who are leaving the city as they can no longer subsist there in the economic climate. His grandparents left Dublin after losing everything in the floods of 1957 and came to live in Bristol.
His project ‘Leaving Dublin’ has recieved a lot of international media attention and over this weekend his presentation will be shown in the UK, Scotland, USA, Brazil, France, United Arab Emirates, Australia and Canada.
‘Leaving Dublin’ is a moving tribute to those for whom living in Dublin is no longer an option.
